Telarus Names Christopher Whitaker as the New VP of Biz Dev – IoT

Former Channel Program Chief of Sierra Wireless is taking on the role of Vice President of Business Development of IoT for Telarus.  

February 22, 2021 – Sandy, UT – Telarus, a leading master agent of Cloud, Unified Communications, Contact Center, Network Services, and IoT and Mobility, today announced it had hired Christopher Whitaker as the new vice president of business development for IoT. As one of the latest members of the Telarus business development team, Whitaker will specialize in helping Telarus sales partners design, present, and close large IoT and Mobility opportunities. This field is another fast-growing segment of the Telarus product portfolio and happily welcomes Whitaker.

Telarus sales partners will have access to Whitaker’s extensive knowledge in his field. He managed Sierra Wireless’ relationships and master agent strategy in his previous position. Using his many years of experience, he hired and trained channel managers and support team members. He taught others how leveraging technology to increase efficiencies and effectiveness was essential to his passions and businesses.

He previously was the VP of channel partnerships, IoT enabler, and cellular connectivity for KORE Wireless, where he oversaw resellers, master agents, and other strategic partnerships. IoT is a field that he has thrived in, and he will be a great addition to the Telarus family.
